Systems specs

Not OC'd

Asus A7V333 - on board sound turned off in bios
512Mb Corsair XMS PC2700 - single stick
SB Platinum Live! 5.1 w/deck and lastest drivers
LeadTek WinFast A250 (Ti4400) 128Mb
3Com 3c905 10/100
Lite-On x48 CD-RW
Boot drive 40G, 2nd hdd-160G, USB2 Portable drive-100G
Logitech Z561 Surround sound speakers

Problem - no sound at all

I have checked system mixer settings, Creative mixer settings, hardware mgr, hardware connections, speakers and not found any problems with any of it. I've checked the sound settings in the soundpanel.

Thinking of reinstalling the drivers again at this juncture but thought I'd ask here first.

I found the problem and it's fixed. I had my sound turned down on my MusicMatch player. Sure would like applications settings to only effect that application when it's running...
