Where in the registry does Windows XP have its startup items, there is a few Creative Technology services I want to stop from running, specifically CTHeper.exe.

Also, can someone recommend a good program to clean out the registry? I have many unused keys in there.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWA RE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Run
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWA RE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\RunOnce

Google for "Registry Cleaner".

I still have the msblast thing in my startup thing. I unchecked it before I got rid of the virus but its still there. Anyone know how I can get it out of Startup list.

Try the registry paths I posted, then run MSCONFIG?
