Thank you for proving my point. This male dog is a threat to your friend, and to the dog's position in the family. The female is not, as a female can not be above a male in the pack structure.

the dogs that come into the yard or even by the fence are no threat when nobody is outside. its a male dog in another male dogs area

then your proof would be? im going from my expierience with animals, domesticated, wild and livestock from growing up on a farm. Your going from your knowledge that you've read in a book or on the net. I think ill stick with what i've seen as opposed to what you've read

You're absolutely right. Years and years of research of animals by trained professionals is certainly less credible than your opinion. Funny.. this sounds quite similar to some of your other conversations.

ok..so you're nutless dogs dont fight. Your 'I really give a shit' award should be showing up anytime now...go stand by the mailbox.

Meanwhile..here in florida...pitbulls are almost outlawed because of thier attacks on other peoples dogs that result in people having furry chewtoys on the end of thier leashes, and rottweilers are damn near feared for the same thing (as well as attacks on people, but the thread isnt about that)

What part of this equation do you not understand? Animals have marked territory. In the case of this dog it's marked when the animal urinates, and takes a dump. That's a warning to other animals. This dog is a threat.

You ever work in a vet's office? Animals never fight in there. Have you ever wondered why?

you must have glazed over the part where i said htey werent all neutered

continue on however. your "selective reading" award is on its way.

i hear you are runner up behind orbital for the "i choose my opinions over fact award". good luck with that.

ps - this thread is turning into a replica of the AIDS water discussion. you taking your personal opinion as fact and dismissing logic and other facts/research

so what exactly is your point. i said animals fight in nature..it happens...just part of nature..you're agreeing with me. so shut the fuck up about it already moron.

no..taking my experience as just that, my experience. i have yet to see any facts or research here, and your logic is no more or less credible than mine

oooh..you mean those vet's offices that require your dog to be muzzled?. damn i wonder why would a vet's office that has a waiting room full of dogs require dogs to be muzzled when they come in the door..hmm...i dunno...thats a tough one. why dont you think on it for a bit and get back to me.

No, what you said was "dogs pretty much fight anytime if its two of the same sex, maybe not to the death, but that depends on the dog" in response to Ceiling Fan's post.

Experience has nothing to do with it. It's simply called knowledge. Animal research has been going on for a long time, and these are the conclusions.

then your proof would be? im going from my expierience with animals, domesticated, wild and livestock from growing up on a farm. Your going from your knowledge that you've read in a book or on the net. I think ill stick with what i've seen as opposed to what you've read

I've had 3 dogs in my life, and 2 currently. I've taken them to the vets office on a number of occasions, both for regular physicals, sickness, and injury. I have never in my life been asked, or required to muzzle my dog. Would you care to try again?

ive never been to a vets office that required pets to be muzzled...so according to my experience, this just doesnt happen.

I have also worked in a vet's office to assist and help the vets prep animals, and there have only been a very very small number of dogs that have been muzzled. Guess what? We never asked them to be muzzled, it was done by the owner at their own discretion.

ok fine...your experience is that dogs dont fight

my experience is that they do.

Is it that hard to actually have someone that doesnt agree with you and you not take it as a personal attack on your internet penis size? Its a difference of experience and opinions, no big deal..let it go.

Some dogs get along some hate each other, my rot seems to have a thing against most yellowish fur dogs.
