idea for tracked vehicles on particular terrains

is really dusty places (like utopia) if a wheeled vehicle is driving thru there, make it kick up a shitload of dirt/dust and when it turns the corner, have that dude slide, and throw dirt/dust that is realistic with the slide


and when the vehicle is on grass, have it throw up grass and dirt, and make it so if you slide on a turn it leaves deep treads

make driving over wet terrain cause the vehicle to lose control easily

like over wet metallic/concrete surfaces, and you turn sharp, you spin out


we want this shit realistic

also we want the tires on the treaded vehicles to either be some super swampers, BFGoodrich Mud/All-Terrains, or some big fat Mickey Thompsons

I think it would be cool if when your jets were activated close to the ground it would spray away the dirt around the area you are jetting off of.

Actually, while track decals can be pretty cool, they aren't as cool as throwing up particle effects like dust, snow, ice, etc from under the tracks/tires.

agreed. I'm all for making games in general realistic. But only in certain areas. Making it too realistic takes away some of the fun.

We have a big team working on this. Everybody has a job. Everybody understands what their job is. Nothing is being left behind or taken for granted. Get over this fanciful belief that every bit of eye-candy we add is game-play that we've removed.
