I'm working on this disc launcher skin at the moment:

Looking for any comments/suggestions, whatever. I'm also wondering how many people would use a skin that shoots red discs (with red trails) and/or if they consider this cheating in some way because its (maybe) easier to see. If not, I'll just keep it blue...

2 things
1. there are many replacements out for disc trails already(sarca made some, i had a white one at one point and... yea)
2. IF someone did consider it a cheat, i would recommend a harsh beating for them, several times

i really like it alot. i think it kind of reminds me of rb's project disc, just with the metal part. if you could clean it up and make it look real nice and smooth i'd definately use it alot. good job so far dude and keep up the work :dapimp:

Link to rb's project disc? I've only seen about 3 actual reskins (not just color changes) of the disc launcher and id like to see what other people have done.
I'll work on the fuzziness. Kind of annoying with 256x256. I've heard something about being able to use hires skins in tribes. Anybody care to explain?
And sorry, but its not ready to be released. The only parts that I've really worked on in that SS are the ones you can see. The rest is just solid black :D

hires is using 512x512, but it tends to crash peoples tribes unless ur in tnt/tnt2 mode for opengl, dunno about glide
