(BTW I don't play tribes 2 so i can't get the defaults) Hilikus 02-14-2003, 06:33 PM T2 SKINS? ever heard of adobe photoshop or fireworks?? t2 pals are completely different then t1's Vance 02-14-2003, 06:33 PM hrmm, is this in ps7, cuz if so u have to download a png fix in psp7 i havent had any probs bLiSS 02-14-2003, 06:36 PM I don't understand what you just said, but here are a few things that might help : 1- You have the original T2 skin and want to convert it for use in T1 ? i) Unzip the .vl2, and find the weapon_*.png, where * is the name of the weapon; ii) Open the .png file in Paintshop Pro for best results, you can try opening them up with Photoshop.. they work fine for me. But some people have the Alpha layer problem, where they see a white layer.. There is a way to fix that somewhere on Toejam's site : www.toejamsplace.com (http://www.toejamsplace.com); iii) Edit all you want, then load a palette. In PSP : shift + o. In PS : Image > Mode > Indexed Color > Custom; iii) Save as a 8 bit .bmp; iiii) Run TribesTools, Makeskin+ it and put the file in base/skins folder replacing the old one. 2- You have problems PBMP>BMP'ing some .bmp's ? I have read before, vol'ing the .bmp, then unvol'ing it will fix that problem.. You could try that.. Hrm.. that should cover it ;) | ||
