T1 Server

Anyone kno how I can make a server that people can join. One prob I have router and the fact that I'm on the other computer that isnt with the router I can't disconnect one of the cables and then setting up server anyone kno how I can make a server on my other computer or does the firewall make it physically impossible?

I think his problem is that he is behind some type of firewall. Each computer in the network doesn't have a seperate INTERNET IP, so he can't just give his ip to someone and they connect. The computer which the net connection is connected to has an internet ip, and then its sharing the connection, thats probably the most likely situation, and because of that all traffic must go through that computer.

I don't exactly know how to do it, but I'm sure if you clicked on the 'Register with Master Server' button when hosting a game it should come up in that list. I don't know any other way it would work.

can't you just go to "Host Game"?

no you cant, i have the same problem and i never got it fixed, but i dont care i make other people host my servers :redblob:

try clicking "register with master server" in network options ;)

sexysmurf, you think you could give a quick explanation on how to do it in here. I think there will be others who would like to know how to do it as well, including myself ;)

if you have a rouder that you cant bypass that wont do jack.
