At the very least, you'll feel like a putz in a year or two if you do. This is a giant big ass bag of hurt. Everyone goes through this. It doesn't feel like it today, but there will be a time when it doesn't hurt any more. Hang in there. Life will get better. BTW, there are probably no big lessons to be leered from this. If you think about it, there is nothing you can ever do to stop someone from cheating on you so why try and be detective etc. Just have a good relationship and hopefully she'll love you for who you are and just not cheat on you. If a girl cheats on you, she can still "love you," but she won't be "in love" with you. Just relax man.
