i certainly don't live with my parents, I have a "career" that pays my bills and will put me through college, and I don't claim to know more about the world than everyone here

I guess since a lot of stuff is being said that's so very false, I'm going to spend some time describing what we were.

We originally met 5 1/2 years ago on a Seattle-based BBS (we both live in the area). I started talking to her because she was new, but came to like her right away. After a month or two of talking, I asked her out (having never seen a pic of her, but talked to her on the phone many times). She said yes, and two weeks later we had our first date. Despite what anyone here thinks, I thought, think, and will always think that she is beautiful. Obviously, the OWNED pic isn't her at her most flattering. But also, in the end, that wasn't important to me. I liked her for who she was, not what she looked like.

In the beginning, I didn't let my parents know what was going on (hence what HJ was talking about), because I thought my parents would be really weird about it. When I finally realized they weren't going to be weird about it, things were fine. Until I got car/license, we saw eachother once every few weeks, since we had to get rides from our parents (her living at least 20 miles away, depending on which house she was at). Once I got my car/license, we saw eachother once a week or so, sometimes more. And thats how its been ever since. We both drive, she has a car (I recently lost mine), so we saw eachother every chance we got.

The past few years weren't easy, but they weren't hard. We had a few fights, but nothing really serious, until our last fight several months ago. Things got pretty bad, but I thought they were worked out in the end. Turns out, I was wrong. That fight basically brought an end to our relationship, on her end. She just had to take a few months to realize how she felt, and another month to brood on not loving me anymore. At the same time, she began cheating on me with Flash (if you want to call it cheating. I do), and acting like nothing was wrong when we were together. I had no clue anything was ever wrong. It hurts now to think how many times I told her I loved her, and how many times she said she loved me too, when in the end, she didn't.

We don't live together, so there's no kick her out. Anything I have of hers, and she has of mine, we gave to eachother, so there's no loss of property, and even if there was, I have faith that we could at least tolerate eachother long enough to return items.

T-Funkay and others say I'm wrong in thinking this, but I do still love her. I can't be with her, not anymore. Not after this. But she's still who she is. She's still the girl I fell in love with over 5 years ago.

BTW anyone wanting to beat up Flash is welcome to do so. You'll have my full support and thanks if you do so.
