First off the stats, ABIT KT7E, 512 PC133 SDRAM, GF4MX 420, TBIRD 1300. I'm building for a friend. I've physically installed everything, the problem is trying to install winxp. I boot from cd it says it's inspecting hardware configuration and then promptly hangs.... I have a feeling it's his hard drive. It's a really old seagate, old enough to run in pio mode only :\ It won't even detect when hooked up to my computer. Any suggestions would be helpful.
