Unable to Open a Link in New Window in Internet Explorer (Q281679)

SYMPTOMS
When you try to open a link in a new window after you update an installation of a released version of Internet Explorer with an Internet Explorer Administration Kit (IEAK) installation package, the page may not load correctly or pop up windows may appear blank, or may load with script errors.

Also, when you attempt to access Web folders, you may receive the following error message:

The current operation could not completed because an unexpected error has occurred.

CAUSE
This problem can be caused by invalid entries for URLMON in the following three CLSID keys:

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{ 79eac9e0-baf9-11ce-8c82-00aa004ba90b}\InprocServe r32]
@="F:\\DOCUME~1\\ADMINI~1\\L OCALS~1\\Temp\\IXP000.TMP \\urlmon.dll"
"ThreadingModel"="Apartment"
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{ 79eac9f1-baf9-11ce-8c82-00aa004ba90b}\InprocServe r32]
@="F:\\DOCUME~1\\ADMINI~1\\L OCALS~1\\Temp\\IXP000.TMP \\urlmon.dll"
"ThreadingModel"="Apartment"
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{ 79eac9f2-baf9-11ce-8c82-00aa004ba90b}\InprocServe r32]
@="F:\\DOCUME~1\\ADMINI~1\\L OCALS~1\\Temp\\IXP000.TMP \\urlmon.dll"
"ThreadingModel"="Apartment"
Internet Explorer Setup may incorrectly register the path for the Urlmon.dll dynamic-link library (DLL) to a temporary folder that does not exist after Setup restarts the computer.
