[T1 sorta] someone wanna help out?

i got a quick video made and its an avi, now how do i convert it to divx in videomach? =\

p.s. im gonna need a host :hrm:

(btw, u dont make a file from *avi* to *divx*. divx is a codec, avi is a type of video file.)

ok. load videomach.

load the .avi.

in the middle of the screen, u should see a lil blue floppy disk next to a blue arrow.

click on blue floppy disk.

should go to a multi tabbed box called "define output"
give it a new video file name. (leave format alone)
now go to the 'video' section.
see the box near the bottom called "format options"?
click on said box
in the compressor list, u should see 'DivX x.x.x Codec'

this automatically selects *avi* for the format on the first tab of the "define output" box
