What is the command to do this? As in if I were using Z0dd's max-toss, and I wanted to change the 'e' to the back button on my MS Intelli Explorer 3, I'd put in " ".

Double-click it, and it'll open up to a menu, on the right side.. select the mouse in the drop-down menu, and a legend of the buttons and what they're bound to. Select the side buttons, and bind them to a keystroke, as most of the time, Tribes does not recognize the extra buttons, and you have to bind them to like F11 and F12, like I did. viola. Joemomma5000 01-23-2003, 01:41 AM Huh, well tribes DID recognize them np, but krak's thing worked perfect for z0dd, thnx man. Krakbaby 01-23-2003, 01:42 AM uh ya thats just a waste of time if u dont have newest drivers, dl and install them u dont have to bind the button to a keystroke, tribes will recognize it Rosco-SS 01-23-2003, 01:44 AM When I did it that way Krak, I noticed that it had a tendency to stop working frequently during maps, map changes or server joins, and I was forced to re-start tribes or the software. This way made it work everytime and all the time for me. Whatev BombocloT 01-23-2003, 01:45 AM Hmmm gL joe i ll help ya when you ll help first!!! heh im not smart eh? j/k loop 01-23-2003, 07:16 AM one way to do it is the way i did it.... the mouse button ordering goes like this: left mouse = 0 right mouse = 1 middle scroll wheel (when pressed) = 2 left side = 3 right side =4 those should work just fine in tribes without any rebinding outside in any programs. i was able to use the side buttons for any purpose i wanted to use them for at any time while still maintaining the same functions in t1 (ie - left mouse = mine, right = grenade). Maniacal 01-23-2003, 08:05 AM my intellimouse optical wouldnt use the side buttons correctly into i mapped them to function keyts (f9 and f10 i believe), and then mapped those functions keys in tribes (to grens and mines) JimmyCarter 01-23-2003, 01:44 PM I just assigned them in Tribes like I wanted them (vote yes/no) Rosco-SS 01-23-2003, 10:43 PM Originally posted by Maniacal my intellimouse optical wouldnt use the side buttons correctly into i mapped them to function keyts (f9 and f10 i believe), and then mapped those functions keys in tribes (to grens and mines) Holy fuck, that sounds familiar | ||
