I think this is what is holding me back?** 3. Open either PS, PSP or whatever you use and make an image for whatever resolution. I make mine in 1024 cause they will scale down fine for 800 though it might not scale great for 640. **simple enough** 4. After youve made your image, open it in whichever program you use for pallettes. I open mine in PSP and hit Shift + O which opens the pallette selection box. For loading screens use the shell.pal, save it after youve loaded the pal. **Right now in PSP all shift+O does for me is toggle the sponge tool thingy on the quick bar.** 5. Open Tribes Tools and go to Make Skin, browse the directory you have the file in and select it (note it should be in .bmp form). In the middle there is a list of the pals, select the shell pal then on the right select whatever folder you want the skin to be made in (i keep works in progress/testing in a folder on my desktop). Then select Make Skin it'll convert it. Put in your Tribes\Base\Skins folder and it should work **An earlier thread said that I need to rename the file loading.bmp, is this true** Thank, Im still a noob at this, I just installed PSP today so bare with me. GreeD 01-25-2003, 12:23 AM 1)To load the pallet: Unzip the pallets into a folder, it doesnt matter where just remember. (I put mine in my PSP folder.) After you have your screen ready to load the pallet select Colors ---> Load Pallet: Look in where you unziped the pallets and select the shell.pal. (shift+o is just a short cut.) 2)Yes rename it to loading.bmp and drop it in Tribes\base\skins. msg me in IRC #7 GreeD if you still cant get it to work.
