I created a shared calendar beneath "Public Folders". I set up the majority of users with "Author" rights. I can sit at a user's desktop and create, modify, and delete entries in the calendar with no problem. However, in certain instances, a calendar item that a user has created appears to them as "read-only", as if they weren't the original creator of the item. Clients are running OL2K.
Any ideas?

Get a new exchange server :)
PS: I dunno in all seriousness... check Technet or somethin... seems like a problem that might actually be listed. I for one tho dont like to mess around with mixing versions of MS software... always causes problems for me in the past :-|

Technet = teh suck (or I = teh suck at searching for shit in it...)
Can't find diddly-squat. Is there a way of viewing/modifying ownership of a particular item within a calendar?

Ownership is on a per-object basis last I checked. The calendar is an object... but not the items within it. If everyone has permissions to modify, it really shouldnt be an issue.
I am just wondering if there is some kludge based upon the way the client and server handle data differently.
