t2->t1 conversions?

what about maps/bases has anyone made any map conversions yet... i know a few of the t2 maps would be badass with t1 speed... katabatic for example... could have some great possibilites if the mountains were smoothed a bit... :o

I think xpdnc has completely made a few bases yet, Riverdance and another one if i remember right, also maybe Hillside ?

What if someone help him.. anyone up to it ;o

i cant right now i dont have a computer... but id be willing to help... only have minimal photoshop/psp skills and am experianced with skinning... i think they just need textures right?

With all the weaponmodels, weaponskins, playermodels and playerskins converted from t2 to t1 all you have left is the maps - true, but wouldn't it be easier if you just played t2? :o

I seriously couldn't play t1 with its shitty gfx anymore and t2 classic is as close as you'll get.

I personally wouldn't care for any t2 maps, being that they're made for a different type of game. Though I don't really play much of t1 anymore anyway.

Well gfx isn't the primary factor of course, but gameplay-wise T2 Classic is very close to T1 imo - so why play T1 with shitty gfx if I can get similar gameplay in T2 with better gfx, I didn't buy my kickass comp for nothing :p

i know a guy that has made 182 buildings already but they are for SS, but he is very good i could ask him to do some when he gets done with his current project, i gotta see if he likes me or not first though.

t2 looks ass, i cant stand the perception nor the graphics. Oh and the game probably has the most ugly gui for any game i've ever seen :)

also, t2 classic doesnt come close :|

i did, i still play quakeworld on mine. in 320x240 software mode. Because its fun.
