Netgear RT 314 Router + DCC

I have a Netgear RT314 router and can't send/receive dcc (or any other file transfers) for that matter...

Not sure what the problem is... I tried opening up ports under the routers menu... any ideases?

You have to setup port forwarding for a set of ports, usually 50 is enough, you might get away with less if you don't transfer much or often. You MUST set a static ip on your computer, most of the firewall/routers wont forward to an IP in the DHCP list. Then setup mIRC to use the ports you are forwarding.

Works fine for about 20 or so people i've used this setup on so far.
