I'm completely dumbfounded on this, I've tried everything I could think of.
The problem happened when I took a floppy drive out of a computer for a few minutes. I put it back in, and now I can't boot from the floppy, and I can't access any disk in the drive in Win2k. It tries for a few moments, then it says "this disk has not been formatted, do you want to format now?" (It's not able to complete the format either)
But, when I try to boot from the floppy, it detects the boot record on the disk, "Searching for boot record on floppy..... OK", then it just sits there and spins, locking up the computer.
I've tried a different disks (same thing happens), different floppy drives (same), different FDD cables (same).
There's also 3 pins removed on the motherboard header, instead of the usual 1 pin (pin 6, i believe). Does ANYONE have any idea on wtf is going on?
