Something very strange is going on with my computer...
I right clicked on "My Computer" and I look at the "General" info and it says im using a Xp1500+ running at 1.36 ghz...
wtf? I bought and installed a xp2200+ running a like 1.8ghz...
Im super confussed with that.

Plus i have a GeForce4 ti4200 128mb Video Card using the 40.72 drivers and i did that 3d performance comparison thing on nvidia.com and again something wacked shows up..
It says a GeForce2 GTS/Pro would increase my performance 997%.. And the GeForce2 Ultra would increase my performance by 1111%

It says in the performance Analyzer that my setup is,
CPU: AMD Athlon(tm) Processor 1363 MHz
Graphics Processor: Generic VGA
Memory: 256 MB
WTF????????????????

Isnt the card I have now way better than those cards?
This means my hardware isnt working to its capabilities right?
Any idea what is going on and how to fix this?

*edit, cant spell

Ok for the cpu problem you probably have your jumper on your mobo set to 100mhz instead of 133mhz. RTFM if you don't know how to change this jumper already.

For the graphics card I still don't believe you when you say you've installed the new detonator drivers. (Get these (http://www.gamer-insight.com/files/index.php?file=53) and install)

If anything I said was wrong I'm sorry. It's 7am and time for school and I'm tired. :p

Powda plugging the Gamer-Insight DB. :bigthumb:

Roach, read your motherboard's manual and find the setting in your BIOS that lets you adjust the FSB (Front-Side Bus) speed from 100MHz (default) to 133MHz, which is what your CPU was designed to run at. This will automatically increase your CPU core clock to 1800MHz.
