argh, file troubles [Archive]

My computer was really messed up, so I brought it in to be fixed. The guy said he would save my data, and he reinstalled windows. however, in windows, i cant see the drive that my music was on. It looks like it is still partitioned correctly bceause the space of the drives missing is correct. however, those drives hold about 8grand in programs that i cant reinstal and about 2000 mp3s. is there any way i can get to my songs without reinstalling windows? and if i do reinstall, will i have to format the partition? is this evne possible, or is my music lost? :-\

take it back to "the guy" and insist he recover your data that he said he would save. He must have made a backup somewhere. [I ALWAYS do for my clients]
