Been doing some research lately into buying the new 2700+ with an nForce2 supporting dual DDR.

Now it's a very simple question ...

What do I need for dual DDR, 2 sticks of DDR ram? Or will 1 work (I know..duh...dual?). Still I haven't found the answer.

And, also, will it improve performance to have 2 sticks of 256 in dual DDR, or will 1 stick of 512 (both PC3200) work the same?

Oh, 1 more thing: Should I go with nForce2 or VIA?

I believe that 2x256 will take advantage of the nforce boards more whereas 1x512 will not. Don't know enough about via/nforce to make a good call on which to get, yet. :)

(Just make sure you don't get samsung pc2700 ram, it's crap. go with something good)
