I'm new to xp, just installed it last night and I have been pulling my hair out from trying to install my n50 speedpad on this machine.
I have downloaded the appropriate drivers for xp however when i try to install the new drivers it tells me my configuration data is bad and to contact the manufacturer.
When i try to install an older version of the drivers it tells me that a newer version is installed and must be removed from add remove programs.
The program doesn't exsist anywhere on my pc that i can find, not in add remove programs, not on the HD, not any where. I initially removed the folder so that i could reinstall it after getting more of the same I scaned my registry and removed every key i could find pointing to it. I also went into the HD every place it pointed to a file associated to it and removed it..
I can't find the drivers its talking about to remove them
I am missing somethign but really don't know where.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
