Hey guys,

<Drudge> for some reason all my ide devices come up as scsi
<Drudge> now my hard drive and cdrw work fine as scsi devices
<Drudge> but my dvd player does not
<Drudge> any suggestions?

any help would be appreciated

some ide controllers just are displayed as SCSI, it doesn't make a difference.. i would look into your DVD player though

what about it exactly doesn't work? does it read CDs? does it just not play DVDs correctly?
