Although this is pretty much one of the presets, changing the attributes was easy as cake.

the more you customize, the more intricate you'r explosions will look. These were done in particle illusion:

void i love my sideways disc explosion dude, you gotta make something cool in a similar light purplish tone for the gren launcher explosion :)
