i tried a movie once with divx5 and divx4.

it was the same quality but divx4 was 1/5 smaller

Did you use Pro version of 5? And 2-pass like outlined with the GordianKnot guide?

Shame we can't do much with the demo format. I've always wanted a Matrix-esque effect to be done. (Around two people, not what sLaM did. Even though that was a cool little script that Scott whipped up. :))

You can't really, unless you get a third person to fly around the two... but they can't 'freeze' obviously.

I have a slightly different method to doing it, and it would be doable in Tribes; just would be very hard to accomplish because it'd need to be perfect for it to work.

wtf adobe premiere is about 1 million times better than videomach. Learn that then make a better tutorial spy.

Did you read the tutorial? VideoMach is only used for making an AVI out of the BMPs. Nowhere does it say use VideoMach's crappy array of transition effects.

But yeah, I'll try and make it better...

I was a bit confused on the last part on useing the Gknot. It dont really tell you how to make your first pass jsut says to do it with the script that you make.

You open up Nandub and do a File -> Open -> (Select your .AVS script file) -> File -> First Pass

I'll try and update it soon with much more detailed instuctions/pictures of the procedure.
