hey sarca.. some people know a bit about 3dsmax (myself) why don't you make a little walkthrough/FAQ on making these so a lot of people could get into this... i dunno if i myself would but maybe all the skinners could get into and vastly improve the video quality of tribes

Actually what I did was learn from tutorials based out there on the interweb.

I then tooled around with #'s effects user reference manual etc etc to try and get an understanding on things.

Seriously speaking, I worked my way around the GUI for 2 days (2hrs each day) and on the 3rd day I decided to dive into something. They only took about an hour or so to create(i'm still learning), but once you learn and completely understand 3d max, oh man...unlimited effects I tell you.

So in closing, as far as making a tutorial :lol:... I only have 2 days(4hrs) of experimenting with max in the designing phase, so I'm defionately not the one to make a tutorial.

You know, the google smiley really should be a link to google. Having to move the mouse up to the link at the top of the page sucks :/

This has been brought up many times. In order to do this we would have to create another hack that makes it harder to upgrade.

Works great, and looks good too. I havent pubbed with it yet, but it might be hard to see in DX with everyone discing. Ill see I guess.
