If it's written by Bev, then she's completely seperated herself from Tom/Mark etc. She doesn't use Tom's name, but instead says "Mark's brother". The writer also describes Mark as "dude" and "the guy". I would expect a more detailed knowledge about the situation being described here.
All the below really is, is a flame. It's specifically engineered to attack Mark. I could see it being real, but I don't immediately buy into it.
Let's just say that it will take a lot more than a post from somebody I don't know, who offered no evidence to support any of their claims, to alter my opinion of Mark and Tom (whom I've known and met).
Give me some evidence, and I'll believe it if I believe the evidence. But right now, this flame bait doesn't outweigh my freindship with Tom/Mark.

I tried to call the cops a few times, but he would unplug the phone from the wall, making it impossible to call. And when I would try to get in my car & leave, he'd take my keys from me. At the LAN, check out the scar from my keys that he has on his arm.
It's kind of funny. Since I've left, he's trying to play mind games with me about how his brother hates me & his friends think I'm psycho. This just makes me laugh. Because, honestly, I JUST DON'T CARE. I used to think that his brother was cool, but according to Mark, he's angry at me for not just taking my beatings. So, he's somewhat cool, but listens to his brother's crap & takes his side when he's clearly wrong. I'm only posting this, because I know that Mark cares about your opinion, and I'm feeling kind of vengeful.
The day I broke up with him (after finding out he was having an affair with this guy, Karsten), he called the cops on my, had me arrested for disorderly conduct. This was enough to make me want vengeance against the guy.
But, really, I'm on the road to being much happier. I've been seeing this great new guy. He's a pilot, so we don't have to stop seeing each other if I move in with my brother in NC & go back to school. He's also got a flat tummy, and actually wants to get married someday. It's like I put in an order for "the next guy" & God actually delivered. :p

old_skul is one of the pillars of the community, and as such, would suffer most if these accusations are based on fact. Groover would know this. Making false accusations of this magnitude would fail miserably under direct scrutiny, and due to this, I further doubt she is lying.
The replies so far from Cheater make me tend to believe that Groover is telling truths, and the absolute silence from old_skul doesn't help his case. A brother will always defend his own, but to call on "brain injury" as a defense is pretty weak, IMO.
I will say that it's pretty harsh of her to post on this board with that.. even if true. But at the same time, if it's true (which we will never know?), then old_skul is getting an Intro to Karma class. Jail time vs. a highly tarnished online reputation? Which would you prefer?
