cleaning tree sap from clothing

i tried rubbing alcohol, as per what i've heard/read. but it didn't work and now the sap has dried on my hoodie and khaki pants.

i should probably try sand paper. and then piss.

but if  when  those don't work what will?

Try freezing it, that will solidify it so you can scrape it off more easily. Although if it's soaked into the fabric it will be much more difficult to get out (flexing it can break it up enough to just fall out however). You might need to do this a few times.

Try a product named Goo-Gone. It it's a liquid cleaner that's good for adhesive messes by disabling the active ingredient that prevents sticky substances from adhering to surfaces.
