Microsoft One Note Hate thread

Im unsure how many times I thought I had something sent to printing, only to find out that one note, somehow, is the default printing option.

WHy? Is it used that much that it should be teh default place to send printing jobs? How many man hours a year are wasted with people mistakenly sending shit to it and not the printer (a small inconvenience for most, but in the aggregate, too much)


Does anyone use this fucking thing btw?

you fucked up somehow.

the way onenote works is it is the default until you install a printer, then that becomes the default.
 
I use OneNote for my to do list and a few other things.

Go to Control Panel -> Hardware and Sound -> Devices and Printers, right-click your favorite printer, and choose Set As Default.
 
A nice solution, but for some reason it looks like I have to reinstall the drivers under MS's install printer feature in order for the wireless printer to be recognized by the printers function within windows.
