My dogs do all sorts of wonky shit.
I had a lab that would howl in his sleep. It was, hands-down, the most mournful sound I have ever heard.
The beagle I have now chases "things" (probably squirrels, since we have a nest in the backyard) in her sleep. It's funny as hell since she barks and growls at the same time, but in an extremely muted tone. It's like grrrrrrr...woof...
