Trips were canceled this morning. Got rocked last night doing an approach into Edmonton, winds were 36kts gusting 51kts, with a heavy duty cross.
Most ice i've ever seen (Picked up over an inch in less than 5 minutes on approach), rockin turbulence. I know some of you around here fly, check out the low level jet on the forecast and the severe turbulence associated.

Thanks for posting this. I was just sitting here thinking "I wonder that it is doing in the atmosphere over Canada".
