Yeah he sued NBC/FOX in January after he was diagnosed with Mesothelioma (usually caused by asbestos) in 2009. Case is still pending.

merlin olsen was awesome as an announcer because he didn't do any of the annoying as shit "bam/whack/wham/boom" batman tv series onomatopoeia in order to be great at what he did.
