While I can’t comment on the specifics, this change will allow us to continue evolving the LIVE service with new features and experiences that fully harness the power of Xbox 360 and the Xbox LIVE community. Because putting a simple if(!xbox && xbox360) is too complicated to filter out new features incompatible with the original...
 
damn. I thought it was going to go free I was just about to bitch that I just paid 50 bucks for a year.

stop acting like you know what is going on.. on their end.

i think we will see the friend list cap removed because of this ... and prolly something to do with the natal shit.
 
Good, that should allow them to finally lift that retarded 100 friend limit (which was caused by some Halo 2 bullshit that they couldn't work around).
 
I think more people play halo 2 than play the ps3 still.

They will be pissed im sure, but really its not like they wont go buy halo 3
 
If I owned an Xbox, I would probably be really pissed off. That's like the master server going down, but this time no one can even put up a new one if they wanted to.
 
I really hope this allows them to fix the limitations on the friend lists.

Please let me do friend groups. Would make my life so much easier.
 
Here is the #1 reason why I don't like the XBOX and XBOX360

All 4 buttons (X, Y, B, A) are in the wrong spot
