Yeah so it seemed like everyone in the last thread suggested sending my gfs parents one nice bottle versus some gift pack was a better idea. So... using wine.com or any other site foe that matter can you suggest a bottle of red that is not from the Cali region for them? I know its not a lot to go on but they like red and live in Cali so yeah.

Oh and $50-100 range.

Elderton Command Shiraz 2005

and I had suggested: International Wine Shop Bodegas Alto Moncayo Campo de Borja Aquilon 2007

but!

they seem to have gotten some 2004 (which will be drinkable earlier, but has a bit of a different profile...seems super agressive. i think i might grab a bottle or two for the rents)

Support US wines, specifically Napa wines. Don't buy some Euro shit. On another note, Napa wines pretty much dom the international wine rankings.
