So fucking boring and slow, filled with endless stupid scenes and worthless moments. You'll leave going "wow that was fucking boring", guaranteed.
 
The book was good but I have no real clue how they could make a good movie and keep any of the spirit of the book. Sure you could take the core story of the book and dress it up for the movie but then it wouldn't be the same journey. What made the book good does not at all transfer to the big screen.
 
I loved it. I also loved no country for old men.

this and the hurt locker were my favorite movies of the year. maybe because 90%+ of all new movies are copout remake pieces of shit. yeah I know the road and NCFOM were books first but im sure you see my point
 
I really don't care about anyone's opinion on this if they haven't read the book, especially since I know that a large number of people don't have the patience for this kind of book/story. Like MadHatSam said, though, I can't see why/how a movie was made out of the book. Still excited to see it, though.
 
but it got so many good reviews?

I figured it wasn't main stream, no wonder they made it limited release.
