55inches of HD PC gaming all day.

I been been playing killing floor, left 4 dead 2 demo , and stalker,

Only problem is some of hte edges of hte HUD's in games are cut off. I have been messign with the resolution and the desktop looks great but in games it shaves off a little from seom reason.

I Have the PC going through the surround sound. It is only splitting it to a prologic surround sound but it still sounds pretty good.

Another strange observation is Hulu looks better then Netfix watch it instantly

I am using the dining room table for my keyboard and a TV tray for the mouse.

Oh and Tube8 porn looks fantastic!!!!!

Pizza rolls and beer for dinner and I'm set!!

so how much does he pay per month, scientist? you sound like you're pretty terrible with your money if you have to have some WoW addict pay for part of your mortgage.

Are you going from DVI to HDMI? I've been debating on doing this myself.

Yeah my vid card came with a DVI-HDMI converter and I jsut bought $30 HDMI cable from Worst Buy.

It does look nice but I had to fuck with the settings a bit.

I still can figure out why video games are cut off.

I hooked my pc to a 46" via hdmi this week. I'm this close to buying a wireless kb and mouse. I was blown away how good it looked, even text looked great. Felt like i fried my retinas from surfing white-backed webpages though.

is there a pic size setting on the tv?

if you're in "Theatre Wide" or something like that, tv looks ok but games get chopped off. switch it to "natural" or whatev and it might fix it

For a masked crusader you sure seem to be interested in others financial situations are you an account by day?

Welcome to the club, mang. :D

Was just playing MW2 on my HTPC today, hooked to my Samsung UN55B6000 (55" LED).

Gotta love it.

I'm running my PC to my 46" via DVI to HDMI and while movies look good, games seem to have this kind of opaque mat with horizontal lines over it..

check your TV. Samsungs have an HDMI input set up for a PC so the screen size is correct. It's usually not input #1.

A friend of mine is selling his rear projection 60" TV for 350 and I am contemplating buying it and building a big ass stand and turning it into a Big fuckin monitor lol.

Only issue is my rear projection TV when I HDMI into it I get a headache from refresh rate I assume. I don't get this off of my projector upstairs though...
