being able to store more songs on a single cd. can i then take that and rip all of the songs onto another itunes library, on another computer? or is it specifically encoded to run on mp3 format cd players?

i've never used this function and don't want to use my cd's if it is not possible.

Uh, all it really does is burn a bunch of mp3s to a disc. Kinda why it's called an mp3 CD.

You can just stick the CD in any other computer and copy them over like any other files.

Yeah. I know. I wasn't sure if it was formatted differently or not, for the reason of mass storage. On the questions page in itunes it says it's specifically meant for mp3 encoded cd players.

I'm technologically inept :\

That just means you have to have a CD player that can read mp3 files, which not all of them do, if you want to listen to it in your car or something.
