waaaaay too much luck/chance involved. Wouldn't care so much except reloads take time. Does the PS3 have ANY good RPGs?

bought but couldn't play past a 1/3rd of it. Like ES: Oblivion, the world just seemed too dead.
Actually bought Fallout before VC. Looking for a true RPG though...
of course the world was dead. it was nuked from orbit. i dont think you got the point of the game.
There should have been weeds all over the place, not bare boring brown.
Then the problem is not with the games.
Sounds like you just suck at it. I can't say I've ever had to rely on luck to win a battle.
i'm not even sure they make real rpg's anymore (or at least "real" in the classic rpg sense).
wonder why that is.. do they think no one will buy it if it doesn't have a lot of multiplayer shit and non-linear gameplay? i really miss rpg's that had a good story that unfolded as you played.

wtf is up with this... even Final Fantasy has become an Action RPG....
The last remnant is just god awful....
