They are streaming 720p videos now for free. I know they have an ad that pops up for a second but that can't be a revenue stream...

Maybe they secretly bought up all the dark fiber in the world so now they don't have to pay bandwidth bills...

Maybe its a loss for them but they keep it to provide Google users with diversified services...

...so they can harvest all our consumer habits! :ftard:
 
Yeah jesus christ.. I mean how can a company that is worth like 800 trillion dollars afford to show HD videos? I mean come on!
 
In related news, it would appear I'm being headhunted by Google.

Well... kinda. I gave them a resume a year ago or so, and one of their recruiters now wants to do a 'prescreen call' with me.
 
It fucking took them long enough. I've always hated youtube for forcing me to watch movies at like 120x80 resolution.
