I read the short story when I was like 10. It was boring then too.

95% certain I saw this - I'm thinking of the movie based on the Ray Bradbury short story where some assholes go back in time and squash a bug and when they return to the present everything has changed. Movie was a steaming pile of shit; bad story treatment, dialogue, acting, bad everything. Good call on going to sleep.
