Where is my package?

So I ordered an item from Canada, obviously my first mistake, and when I go to track it I get this

2008/09/17 05:15 International item has left Canada
2008/09/16 00:13 MISSISSAUGA, ON Item processed at postal facility
2008/09/15 15:33 WASAGA BEACH, ON Item accepted at the Post Office
2008/09/14 06:45 MISSISSAUGA, ON An order has been electronically submitted

No updates in 2 days, so I'm assuming it leaving Canada means that USPS is taking care of it now. So I go to USPS and I get this

Label/Receipt Number: CX15 3xxx 611C A
Status: Origin Post is Preparing Shipment

We have received notice that the originating post is preparing to dispatch this mail piece.

Is my package lost at the border? Or do you Canades only get mail on half of the week?
 
Having no updates for 2 days is typical when dealing with anything shipping within Canada. The service fucking sucks.

such things happen all the time when I order from amazon. When I track a package it will say something like "order has been received" right up until the day I actually receive the package.
 
It has officially been 9 days since they last updated the tracking info, and no update yet. I'm starting to get slightly worried that I may never get my parcel. :(

Ps - Fuck Canada
