[help me!]Windows XP Pro Standby/Hibernate are gone!

I haven't used my laptop in a month or two and now the Standby and Hibernate options have vanished. They don't appear on the shutdown menu or in the Power Options window. Has anyone ever heard of this before?
 
Half the time coming out of standby/hibernate, my laptop freezes and I have to reboot any fucking way...
 
This sucks. My computer is an old piece of shit that takes like 10 minutes to shutdown or restart.
