I only skip once ive done the conversation before. I actually love the conversations and how they flesh out how the story is going along. The voice acting is some of the best ive ever seen in a game.
 
I hated pressing space because at least half the time it would wind up selecting the next dialogue option that was selected by default as well.

Although this led to a hilarious interview with some chick who asked a question about my ship and then I responded by punching her in the nose and telling her to stop asking bad questions.
 
Hahahahaha I did that too, but purposely, because I decided to make my first playthrough an asshole one.

Btw, Noveria sucked-it was boring as hell-but it made me realize the voice actress for the Matriarch was Demona from Gargoyles.

I'd pay in diamond for Bioware to make a Gargoyles videogame. Make it so, number one.

It is for a bit. That world the council calls you up to tell you about is INTENSE though. Very fucking sweet, except for the mako drive up through it.
