So let's say I brought a bottle of Bombay Saphire to a weekend party at Ocean City, and were just now getting ready to leave. There are a few people staying here until Wednesday...

But noone touched the Gin yet. Can I take it back?
 
if its a stupid party with stupid kids - yes.

if its an adult event and it was presented as a gift - no.
 
Probably won't matter if there's tons of booze around. At the TW Ski Trip, everyone was buying beer and we had extra. So if you take back a bottle you brought, no one will care.
