My first encounter with net-neutrality

So, having Charter cable, ESPN 360 denies access to users of Charter and other ISPs in my area. ESPN even outright refuses to let me pay for the service directly, and asks that I help them get my ISP to bend over to their wishes?

While tragic in a, it may spill over to other sites sort of way, this is by no means something to cry about.

i don't think this is net netruality

espn360 is a service you get through your isp. some provide it, some don't.

ESPN seems to be blocking entire chunks of internet users not because individual users are not paying them, but because the entire ISP isn't paying them. If this isn't a violation of Internet neutrality, I don't know what is...the only difference here is that the content providers are bullying the ISPs which in turn passes the cost on to me even if I didn't want ESPN.

What ever happened to brasstax? He was on my ass for a while, I then made a thread about where he worked or bought guns from, and then he disappears?
