Long Island, NY?

For the most part, yeah everyone will say it is full of rich twats, but (surprisingly!) normal people live there as well. :-o

Basically they complain that they pay Albany about $3 billion in taxes a year and they'd like to use it for THEMSELVES rather than the state they are part of. However, highway funding, school funding, etc etc etc are all supported by state taxes so they need to create a whole lot of new shit and its a completely moronic idea.

edit: I think Eastern LI also wants to form its own county independent of Suffolk...
 
just spent a week performing all over long island.

the wine country is cool. the rest can damn well sink into the sea for all i care.

Hrmmmm. . . Suffolk is just being a drama queen again. They are always doing that, trying to ban smoking everywhere, preventing cell phones to be used during driving. I swear to god, I hate Suffolk County.

That said, I live in Nassau County (Long Island)
