Does alcohol affect brain hemispheres differently

Whenever I get a hangover (today) I've noticed that the leftward versions of all my sense do much better. See better out of my left eye, hear things more clearly from the left side, etc. Not talking stroke level symptoms but it's obvious **** is fuzzier than normal when I close my left eye and I can notice refresh rates of monitors more easily.

What gives?

alcohol affects purkinje cells in the cerebellum
that's why you suffer from ataxia (inability to stand) when you drink. the cerebellum is responsible for programming voluntary muscle behavior.

hmmm

I'll bet the problem is that my dominant right side absorbs more of the alcohol as I do things while intoxicated and that it takes the ride side longer to recover because of that
