Who's had the flu this season? I've been lucky over the past years and not been stricken. Not so lucky this year.

Yesterday my temperature reached 103.5, and I was near delirious with fever. It was horrible. My wonderful husband came home early from work to take care of me it was that bad. I'm not usually a baby when I'm sick (I leave that to him, and men in general) but damn...I was so out of it I actually said to him "what if I have the bird flu???" :lol:

Today I'm down to a chilly 101. Nice. So looks like I still won't be going to work tomorrow. That will be 3 days this week I've been home, but I'm sure my coworkers don't want to share the germs.

I got it twice. Once leaving the Dominican Republic and a second time when I arrived in Europe. Granted, was two separate viruses but what really pisses me off is I got vaccinated this year, but guess what! I was vaccinated for north america which is the one place I didn't get the fucking flu.
