if i weren't lazy, i would do a search and find triple suggesting that fred thompson was actually a serious candidate with a good chance of pulling down the nomination, and not just a washed up actor pushing a book deal
 
He was the second coming of Reagan and was going to save the GOP! Who's going to do it now???!?!??!!!!

On the plus side, he can put all the weight back on now...
