[RothIRA] Don't invest more than 4000

I've maxed my IRA every year for 4 years since I turned 18, and I plan on having a hefty retirement savings.

I've known about RothIRAs since before I was 15 years old...

Unfortunately I don't have anything significant to place in one... :(

How did you manage to max it when you were 18?
You must have either
A. Received money from parents
B. Worked your ass off at a shitty job to invest 90% of your income.

I'm leaning more towards A...

i do 401k and toss in 5% because that's what my company matches

after i clean out all my college loans i'll consider putting in more

On that note:
When you switch companies, be sure you don't accidentally go over your 401k contribution limit. It too, is a pain to fix.

401k to company match then do Roth IRA. You'll probably come out better than way instead of the extra in your 401k.

I invested 4150 this year by accident. You can only invest 4000 at age 23. I have to remove that 150 or else the govment gon get me!
